Awesome score Ketav!! Congratulations!

3. Strategy can make and break your score: Another thing that helped me a lot. Rajat’s strategy session was very helpful in this case. It helped me define what I wanted to achieve and budget my time accordingly. I would recommend everyone to attend this. It covers everything from how to define your weakness to how to budget time to work on it.

Can you please provide more details about Rajat’s strategy session? May be web link.

@detailed: A study buddy is the best thing that can happen to you. It is blessing if someone who you work well with is studying for the GMAT.

Ketav,

Thank you for your input on studybuddy. I had a session with my friend from India over Grockit. It was great. Just because we were doing it together, we could do 20 SC problems one after the other. I am surprised why people don't mention this.

One thing that we found difficult in the Grockit environment was to teach concepts to the other person. Do you have any suggestions for this. I am asking you since you might have tried this given your association with Grockit.

That is something that we struggled with as well. We tried using their white board feature and it was helpful to an extent. We also felt that time was an issue while discussing things. Nevertheless, doing quizzes together is a good practice. It tells the areas where you buddy is strong in.

Awesome review and thank you for taking the time to write it. You have had phenomenal improvement. Can you tell me your approach to RC. Did you read the entire passage well in the first go.

Hi ketav

At the outset congratulations for a great score. I am also an Indian engineer. I started with MGMAT-SC and read it twice only to realize what you stated in the debrief. My score improved marginally from 29 to 32 in verbal. I thought that may be I had not grasped everything but then I came across your post.
I think I would follow your path by subscribing to e-gmat. Hoping for good.

Hey Ketav,

Great achievement and an amazing debrief. I don't know how I missed such a motivating debrief during my journey.

I am in the same boat. I have been an average student all my life, I went to Tom, Dick & Harry CoE and graduated from anonymous university in US (WSU).

So once again Kudos to you for your perseverance.

Very cool debrief. And I completely share your views about MGMAT SC guide. Everything is there, but they are a little hard to grasp.
