I am planning to join Graduate School upon completing my Bachelor's Degree in Business.
I got accepted into two graduate programs:
1. Dual MBA/MS Business Analytics at University of Kansas.
2. Master of Supply Chain Management at University of Michigan.
Question: Which program would be better to pursue and why?
I would shot for MSc in SCM in Ross for reasons:
1- It is high quality program from high reputable university. It will prepare you for job market.
2- Doing an MBa in that very early stage will not add any benefit to you. You need to get seasoned in practical life and then comes MBA level around 28-30 years old. By that age, you will have built good business acumen that MBA will help you link them more. On money level, you won't sense the benefit of MBA in salary increase as you re in early stage in your career.
