Was recently laid off and need a new job. I am applying round 1, but I'm also looking for a new job. I am applying some out of state, so telling the employer so wouldn't help me. But what if I get accepted and potentially only work at my new firm for 1.5 years? How can I handle this situation?
Hi
tonyjyoo,
Thanks for posting your query.
You must definitely look for a job as being unemployed while applying is not perceived well. Of course, this entire period needs to presented in a way that projects your learning from the episode, how you reacted to the adversity and emerged out of it.
Hope this helped.
All the best!
