I just got back from visiting a school and I am currently on its waliting list.
I would like to know that if I write something to the admission regarding the visit and to reiterate how much I want to attdend the school and how well I fit w/ the program, should it be a letter or an essay?

Good idea. It should letter. 1 -2 pages max. I'm assuming you are waitlisted at a school that encourages contact.
