Hi Alex,
If you work for a stand-alone operating division of a much larger company, what do you put on your application for company name/revenue? For example, if you work at Morgan Stanley IBD, would you list that and put the MS investment banking revenue, or would you list all of Morgan Stanley Inc.? How would you address your company name/revenue if you were in the Consulting division of IBM or Deloitte (with very different functions throughout)? Or say, if you worked at Oliver Wyman, which is wholly owned by the Marsh & McLennan Companies? I personally think it would be stupid to put "Marsh & McLennan Companies" if Oliver Wyman is so well known. But then the question goes on, how far can you go? If you were exclusively part of "Deloitte Consulting, Private Equity Group Division", would you list only that company and the revenue there?
Or am I overanalyzing it (where "use your best, honest judgment" would be the best answer)?
