Hi All Looking for a study partner to discuss and solve RC & SC questions. Please ping me if anyone is interested.
There are two things I'm considering doing in a study session/s soon, maybe they would be interesting for you?
1. Myself and another person with V44 are probably going to do a session where we do CR questions, and then without looking at the answers, we debate what we think the answers are. Others can join the debate as well in chat. And then we check the answer once we finished defending the positions, and see how it went.
2. For this, I will just copy paste the message I put in my study group:
me on my discord group
So thinking out loud. I made a mistake in RC in my exam. I'm not sure what happened, but I want to figure it out. I have one idea:
I'm thinking about just answering RC passages until I get 1/more wrong. Basically, keep answering them until something goes wrong, and maybe that will give me some clues to what happened on the exam.
I don't have any other ideas on how to diagnose it, so that's what I'm thinking... I'm curious, would that be something people would be interested in, maybe for a future stream? I only ask because I know RC is a problem area for a lot of people, but I'm not sure if that is something that people would find useful or not at all. (Also, it could be really long if I keep getting them right, or really short, if I make a bunch of mistakes straight away...)
I also think it would be much quicker pace than our usual sessions. Less discussion of every question etc., More just solving out loud, and if people have questions as we go along, I can discuss with them between passages...
Anyways, just some thoughts...
If either of those things sound interesting, you can feel free to join our study group! The link is in my signature below.
Even if not, there are plenty of people to study with and we are active in the discord. If you post questions people will usually respond pretty quick, so it is like being in a study session all the time haha.
But yeah, I assume that isn't interesting to you, otherwise you wouldn't have needed to post! You could have scrolled up and seen it... so maybe I should stop hassling people in this channel about the group, because clearly they don't want to join
But yeah, let me know if either of those CR/RC study sessions sound interesting.
