I would be looking to apply whenever round 1 would be so I am thinking in 2017. I don't feel to great about retaking the GMAT. When giving myself an honest assessment, I think my 700 score is as good as I can do. I would go as far to say as I overachieved with that score.
Without a doubt, I realize my undergraduate career would be my red flag, however, I truly did go through a personal transformation my last two years. I feel extremely confident that I can articulate my transformation through not just an essay or personal statement, but through a face to face interview. If a personal transformation truly occurred with an individual, it should not be hard to tell that story.
While I was taking 15 units a semester at my new school, I worked at the Reading Health System, which is a large non-profit hospital. I held a variety of part time jobs which include "Call Center Associate" in the nutrition services department. After six months in that position, I was able to transfer to a new role for more experience, where I then worked as a Patient Transporter. After another six months I worked in a physicians practice doing administrative work. After I graduated, I worked two years full-time, as a managed care coordinator, and a practice manager. As a practice manager, I demonstrated leadership experience for one year.
As I mentioned before, I feel confident I will be able to articulate my transformation and healthcare story. I have worked so hard to get to this point and loose sleep over getting into a great MBA program. I know your not an admissions director, but after hearing me out, whats your honest assessment. Other than UNC, Emory and PSU, what other programs do you like for a person with my stats and story. I know its up to me to decide were I want to apply, but I am very open to all opinions and suggestions. Thank You
