Hope this finds you well.

Irrespective of your fine GPA and career plans, you will still need to aim for a much higher GMAT score. The programs you are targetting are top-notch ones and considering you come are Indian candidate the GMAT expectations will be a lot higher from you. Though you have a high standard profile, you have to meet the basic eligibility criteria of the schools.
Hence, we recommend some solid preparation (and a better score; preferably upwards of 710), before you apply. The extra curriculums can make a lot of difference to get a positive response from the schools, you can discuss your EC's if you have any which can broaden your chances.

You can try our unique tool to know your "Chances for B school" or feel free to get in touch with us to have a brief discussion on your profile.

General profile:

Gender: Female
Nationality: Indian
Age: 25 years
UG: B.Sc (h) statistics
Grade: 4.0 GPA
GMAT score: 670 (Q47/V35)

34 months of experience in the market and client insights team of a global management consulting firm (as market research analyst and deputy manager, market research). Currently working (as a senior business analyst) in a leading Indian research and advisory firm

Work experience: 44 months (~3.5 years)

Current job profile: Research and analysis support, catering to business development. Witnessed an exponential growth. Got an opportunity to lead a global team of about 15 people. Also hold experience and have been active in hiring new associates to the team.

Why MBA: looking forward to an extension to my current role and specialise in strategic consulting aiming at business development.

Based on my career plans and the curriculum of respective b-schools and geographic suitability, I aspire for the following b-schools:
Insead (Paris), HEC (Paris), Ivey (Canada) and ISB (India) - Not sure if these are not all long shots with my current GMAT score?

Looking forward to any expert advises here!

Thanks!

Hello Soumya94,

Thanks for writing in.

Your leadership experience and career growth will definitely add a lot of value to your case. However, despite the same, considering the schools you are targetting, it is strongly recommended that you re-take your GMAT and aim for a score in excess of 720; the higher the better.
