Linda,

I have taken my GMAT today and got a 650. (70 percentile on math and 83 percentile on verbal). I am trying to get into NYU (stern full time). I was planning to apply round 2 but given my low GMAt should I wait until round 3 when I get a higher score? My undergraduate GPA is 3.0 in Econ and minor in computer science. I have almost 4 years of work experience as an IT consultant for IBM. Pior to working for IBm I worked for PwC. I want to get an MBA to switch careers into finance. Thank you.

I recommend you retake the GMAT and apply R3 with a higher score.

Good luck!
