Hey Orochimaru:
Thanks for reaching out to me. You are in the right forum. And as a matter of fact I am hoping somebody right now get into related programs in information management and data sciences at Berkeley (
https://www.ischool.berkeley.edu/programs/mims). These programs are generally easier to get into and they are not as competitive as getting into top MBA programs. It is hard for me to tell exactly how much easier because the schools do want applicants who have very specific skills and career paths. And so if you do not fit into their narrow scope of applicant, you really would not be a good fit.
Right now, I do not know enough about you and your background to tell you whether or not you would be a good fit. Additionally, you did not really tell me what your goals are, so do not really know if even the particular data sciences or data analytics programs that you refer to are a good fit for your background in your career goals. Also, where you located? Domestic or International background? So enlighten me please!
By the way, the applications are not any easier than MBA applications by the way. Most of the schools want a statement of purpose and a personal statement, and from what I have seen, some even want an additional essay on your most significant leadership experience. Additionally, some even want you to reference the specific research you are interested in at the school. And this means reading up on the professors, as well as the research, in order to demonstrate an understanding of the school. This is typically a level beyond what most business school applications would expect. So that is why think that applications to some masters programs are actually more difficult than MBA apps.
Respectfully,
Paul Lanzillotti

I'm aware that you admission consultants provide services to get into a good Business school. In my future, I plan to do a Masters Program in Data Sciences or Data Analytics. How hard is it to get into a good Masters of Science program? Do you provide counselling for those? How hard is it compared to landing into a good Business school? I see the greclub.com does not have an "Ask Admission Consultants" section. Are the GPA requirements as stringent for M.S as they are for M.B.A to get into the top 10 programs abroad? I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, please redirect me to the right forum if this is a wrong one.
