Made mistake in application form (stated date wrongly); what now?

As mentioned in the header, I messed up big time and misdated a year. Instead of 2021 I put 2020 - what should I do now?

The best thing to do is to contact the admissions office and to kindly explain the situation. As long as it was an honest mistake, you should be fine.

Get in touch with AdCom and send the relevant documentary proof.

Yes, we agree with the advice of others here. You should definitely contact the AdCom and have it corrected. They might be able to note the change themselves or have you submit a new resume, essay or wherever it was indicated. This is clearly a minor mistake but it would be good for you and the AdCom to have it corrected for the accuracy of your application.
