Custom Flashcards for Manhattan GMAT Quant Strategy Guides

Question

I've been putting together flash cards while working through the MGMAT strategy guides. Many of the card sets already available, including the  free download  from Manhattan, tend to give problems and solutions. I need something with which I can review the concepts and methods I'm learning from the guides.

The result is this set of flashcards covering the first strategy guide,  Fractions, Decimals, & Percents . As I work through the guides I'll add the cards. The  Algebra  set is almost finished. Let me know if you come across any typos and I'll correct them. Please note that these cards may not be as useful for those who haven't purchased the complete set of  Manhattan strategy guides .

Probably not. It's time consuming and I'm pretty strong in verbal but we'll see. I plan to cover all of the Quant books for sure.

Thank you very much for that. I know you probably are not going to do the verbal segments, but can you refer some place where someone so terrible in English grammar can get a thorough Verbal (basically grammatical) flashcards?

These are very well done. I would suggest that much of the benefit comes to the person putting together these note cards. This is an activity I recommend to many of my students to help them remember tricky topics. The process of working through the material to pull out key concepts forces you to think about the material differently than just reading it - and the material sticks in the brain better. The process of writing down those key concepts you need to remember goes a step further in helping you understand the material and commit it to memory.
