Hello! Feeling really lucky to have received offers from Marshall, Foster, and McDonough, all with pretty good scholarships.
McDonough – 20K (I am trying to negotiate for more)
Marshall – 60K
Foster – 60K
Background: Indian, M, 27, 6 years of experience in technology consulting/risk management
ST Goals: Ideally international organizations (like IMF, World Bank, IFC) or anything else in Government/Social Impact (Yes, I am aware that I will not even be considered for a lot of these jobs).
Back-ups: Strategy Consulting or Technology
I feel that MSB would get me closest to dream ST goals, but the opportunities would be fewer.
On the west coast, I would probably go with Marshall as the program seems to be a lot more balanced (Foster seems to have too much of a tech focus).
Looking into brand equity, placement statistics, and overall expenses – I feel both Marshall and MSB are at par.
Here is the real fear: I feel I would be putting too many eggs into one basket by going to McDonough and might lose out on the diverse opportunities that I would get in LA (which seems to be more international student friendly)
Really confused and reaching out to the wonderful people at GMATClub for some advice.

Given the awareness that most of the roles that are your dream roles may remain so, Asking Georgetown to raise the scholarship would be a better alternative.

promtetheus74332 To have solid backup options, Marshall and Foster are the safest. You should be aware that non-tech companies may not even want to sponsor your visa, so you will have a hard time finding the right opportunity anyway. In my opinion, and given your background in tech consulting, you should try to secure a job first and then take gradual strategic steps towards your dream career over the years. A sudden move to a new field in a new geography can be very stressful for you.
