Hi Linda,
I have started working on essays. One of the essays requires me to share life experiences that will distinguish me and that will add value to the class.
I am considering beginning with my academic achievements and extra curricular activities, moving on to stress on leadership aspects and then summarizing why I am fit for the program.
I don't know whether this would work though..Please suggest tips
Thanks
Without knowing the exact prompt or actually seeing the essay, it is difficult to respond, but I don't think the approach you are taking is terribly effective. Academic experience rarely distinguish you in an applicant pool of high achievers. Extra-curricular activities are more likely to do so, but focus on a few of the most impressive and influential experiences. Don't do a survey or a repeat of your activity list.
Frankly, I think my book
MBA Admission for Smarties has a lot of excellent essay tips. It is available from all Amazon stores around the world in both kindle and paperback.
Best,
Linda
