19 years old right now. Studying in a not-so reputed Engineering College. 5th semester currently. 3 more to go.
I come form the CSE background. and I have history of a backlog in Microprocessors and Microcontrollers (NOT A CSE SUBJECT, BUT PART OF OUR CURRICULUM) in my 4th semester.
Now, being an Indian, we go into the IT field. Yeah, you've seen a billion Indians coming from this field. But I think I've found my passion for Big Data Analytics. and there is Management Course on it!
Lets say you have
1. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE FOR 2-3 years.
2. DECENT EXTRACURRICULARS WHERE YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE.
3. 7.5 CGPA/10 with HISTORY OF ONE BACKLOG on an unrelated subject.
Note : Its brutal to convert an Indian GPA of 10 scale where the evaluation is stringent and dogmatic to a 4 scale, fair International GPA. Of course, you guys know this.. I just keep typing it everywhere to reassure myself that it's not the end of the world to have a low GPA. I was just negligent, not that it is impossible to get a high GPA, But 9.0/10 is no. 1 university ranking, that's a 3.6/10.. But the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, I will ensure that my GPA growth shows an upward growth.
4. HIGH PERCENTILE GMAT SCORE. (730+)
5. GOOD RECOMMENDATION LETTERS AND ESSAYS CLEARLY DESCRIBING YOUR PASSION AND FUTURE GOALS.
The no. of universities accepting GMAT scores are increasing.. and universities like Carnegie Mellon fall under that category..
Do I have a shot at top 10 MBA programs on Master of Science in Data Analytics?
