Hello!
I intend to pursue an MBA in Canada / Europe / USA with specialisation in Strategic Marketing / Business Design . I intend to pursue a career in an Engineering / Consultancy firm.
My details are as under:
1) Gender-M
2) AGE- 28 years
3) Education : Bachelors in Electrical Engg. ( First Class)
Diploma in Electrical Engg. ( First Class)
4) Work Exp. : Working as an Area Sales Manager with one of the largest private sector Electrical Equipment manufacturers in India. The company is a USD 2 billion enterprise since May'10 . I joined this company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Jan 2005 i.e 6 months after my college & my progress has been good . I am one of the youngest persons in the company to be promoted to this role. I am handling revenues of around 15 Million USD & a team of 4 people with work experience varying from 2-10 years. I have a great potential with this company & am being groomed by the higher management ( General Managers / Sr.Managers etc)
5) EC : I have been involved in the Intellectual Property Rights teams of my company . I have also been involved extensively with my company's as well as client's IT & E-commerce teams to streamline the business processes.
Have been also mentoring younger generation of Graduate Engineer Trainees/ fresh joinees
6) GMAT : YET to appear
7) REASON for MBA: 1) Broaden my horizons-- interaction with individuals with different backgrounds
2) Improve networking
3) Hone analytical / business skills
4) Have an international experience
5) Accelerated career growth ( have to be a CEO / COO by the age of 38 which otherwise would take further 10 years)
8) Strengths: High learn-ability , ability to work in teams / highly motivated & dedicated.
9) Weakness: Not enough experience in handling people / very specific business knowledge.
I would appreciate if you could advise me on my profile & the schools I should consider .

A lot of it honestly will depend on your GMAT score.
Assuming your GMAT is in the high 600s or better, the kinds of schools you should focus on are:
Europe: Oxford, Cambridge, IE, ESADE, IESE
Asia: HKUST, ISB
US/Can: Rotman, Ivey, Queen's, Georgetown, USC, Texas, Emory
You should have a reasonable shot at these schools. For the top 16 schools, what will put you at a disadvantage is that you're up against other Indian guys who have more international experience than you (there's enough Indian guys who have spent a few years already working/studying full-time in the US/Europe before applying to b-school, and they will have a leg up on you).
Nonetheless, if you focus on the schools listed above, you should be able to get the kinds of jobs you want after b-school.

I was not keen for the European B-schools becoz of the skewed work permit regulations post MBA.
What are my chances at Ross / Booth assuming a GMAT score of 650+?
You have mentioned the top 16 in the US . Which are these ?
