Mehemmed
Hi there,
I am a 26-year-old male international applicant. Recently, I have been awarded Chevening scholarship to study a master's degree in the UK. I will study MSc in Business Analysis and Strategic Management at Alliance Manchester Business School of The University of Manchester. I want to do my MBA at top ten US business school two years after completing (at the age of 29) my master's degree . Does it sound pointless to go for an MBA after business masters? Will this degree hinder my candidacy before MBA admissions?
I'd appreciate any feedback and recommendations on this.
Cheers.
1.The degree will not hinder your chances of doing an MBA later (which in real life may not happen exactly two years later). At that time, you may need to explain why you want another degree from a future career perspective.
2. The end goal of a masters program is a post degree job. Either the MS or the MBA will make sense for you if you they help you achieve your career objective. do either of the two programs with this in mind.
