Hi,
I am debating between Baruch MBA/Fordham MBA. I graduated in 2010 from Fordham University. I currently work in Operations at a Hedge Fund (5 years work experience).
My company pays 10k per year for Graduate school. I want an MBA so I could land a front office role maybe something in investment management. I am just looking to find a better career path than operations. I want a job where there is steady growth. E.G a friend of mine works in Investment Management (Baruch Undergrad) at GS and consistently gets a 5-10 k raise. I just want a job where there is growth unlike Operations.
My gpa isn't very high (right under 3.0). Is it worth it for me to do MBA? I would love to do Fordham but I really don't want to take out loans and it would take me about 7 years to finish if I do part time. With Baruch, I would be able to finish under 4.
