Submitted my app on 1/20 and still have not heard back one way or the other, I think I know what that means, but can someone confirm i am SOL?

most likely you are, but Ad Com states that they can send out interview invites as late as the week of the decision deadline, and that date of interview invite is not related to likelihood of admission. Good luck.

I've been beating my head against my desk for about a month now having not been invited for an interview. So, I can relate. Realistically, I assume that today was the last day that invites would go out (since it would take a week to set it up, a week to review the findings, and decisions usually go out from the 22-29th). So, the only hope I can hold onto now is that my EMBA interview is being used for both programs.

I was waitlisted without an interview. Not a DECLINE, but not a yes. So, I think its still possible that I could get an interview, or they would have dinged me pretty quickly. Supposedly you will have a chance to prove your case when they review the wait list...hopefully soon.

Yes it was 5k per year plus since I am out of state I got the out of state waiver. They upped it to 10k per year plus the waiver. So it will save me about 25k per year. I wasn't expecting that call.

Looking at the website I think you're right that 10k is the max at least for the general merit scholarships. They might give more for consortium/forte, not sure since I wouldn't qualify for those.

yea.. im still surprised that they cap it at 10k/yr.. its not much compared to other schools top offering even w/ state tuition.. and ut has a decent endowment

Thank you! Counting my blessings this week. I'm unfortunately not going to be able to attend Go Blue Rendezvous because I have my college 5-year reunion that weekend, but I'm definitely planning on making it to McComb's Preview Weekend. Basically, I'm trying to stay as open-minded as possible until then.

Congrats to those with raised scholarships!

Just out of curiousity -- had any of you accepted your offers yet or paid your deposits yet? My hunch is no and that this was them sweetening the pot? Or had any of you nudged them at all about the scholarships?

I wonder what this means about the larger admissions picture -- more people declining R2 offers? Fewer R3 admits? Pushing for a bigger yield overall? Very interesting in any case.

I got to attend the Faculty Speaker Series this week with Dr. Hasler and part of the presentation was introducing the new MS in Business Analytics program McCombs is doing. I am curious if anyone on here has applied to the inaugural class this fall.
