Hello,
I'm just wondering if it is wise to mention that I attempted to start a business throughout late 2009/early 2010. A partner and I did market research, competitive analysis, talked to industry folk, vendors, budgets, financial models, proposals, etc.. but ultimately decided that the competitive and regulatory environment weren't suitable.
Should I mention this on my resume or application?

Hi krazo,
In your essays you can mention the venture and discuss what you learned, but if you did not pursue the business you should not put it on your resume.
