Hi Ayovirgin,

While a low GPA can be problematic, one can offset it to a certain extent with a strong GMAT score. Hence, to begin with, your entire focus should be on acing the GMAT. A strong GMAT score will showcase your ability to adjust to the rigours of an academic program.

As you are preparing for the GMAT, you may take a free, full-length GMAT-like mock test: https://www.expertsglobal.com/free-gmat-practice-test

Moreover, here is a source for 150+ short videos, covering nearly all the frequently tested concepts on the GMAT.

Hi Folks,

I don’t have much to spend on admission consultants so I will be doing my application process myself. I have low gpa ( 6.2), and I’m preparing for GMAT I can definitely score good in it. I have 1.7 years of work experience. Can someone guide me how I can put in my best application ? Also I’ve heard cause of my low gpa I can’t get into public universities in Germany is it true?

The best applications are a good
Mix of test scores, essays and interviews. Academics you cannot change now, so don’t fret over it any more. Plan in terms of what all you can control from here and that is test score, essays and interviews. Remember, test scores are an important but one of the many components. Do focus on crafting very good essays and start working on interviews prep immediately.

Best wishes!
