Thanks Manu for initiating this thread.
Going by this article on indian express, it looks like they have only asked the IIM's to not term the 1-year program as a degree (as its not per UGC guidance), which i dont think they are doing even currently.
I think even the 2 year mba from IIM is only called a "Diploma" and not a "Degree". But, I would definitely like some experts opinion on this...
