Yes. Next year I'll apply to other schools and LGO, whereas this year I only applied to LGO. Same with last year. I want to go get the degree, and if I don't get accepted to LGO, we'll see what I decide to do. I really love the connections I'd make there, and not getting in for a third year in a row next year might be the end for me. I may not go get the degree at all.

But we'll see.

I'm trying to keep my hopes high, and telling myself that this year is the year for me. :) I'm also a younger applicant, I'm 25, turning 26 a few days after decisions go out. So we'll see.

I'd likely take a similar approach if rejected this year; reapply to LGO along with other top-15 schools. Luckily I really like my job/company/location so while I'd be really upset if I didn't get into LGO this year, life would go on until next year's admissions cycle.

I agree - Adcom probably loved our banter! Also, I know I should just relax, but is there a term for habitually (read: obsessively) checking one's phone every other second? I know it's just a few more days but it is SO hard.
Congrats to everyone who got in - must feel quite good! And ChemEng - I know this doesn't mean much but for what it's worth, I really thought you were a solid LGO-fit from the little I knew. But hey, now you can enjoy your secondment in the UK!
