I'm going to throw it out there, but I don't think we need to talk negatively about anybody who's applied. We've all worked hard to get where we're at and all have different life situations. Who knows who we're going to be going to school with, but at the very least, I'd rather assume I'll get to meet everybody and build relationships where I can. Good luck to everybody who's still waiting to hear back!

I'm going to throw it out there, but I don't think we need to talk negatively about anybody who's applied. We've all worked hard to get where we're at and all have different life situations. Who knows who we're going to be going to school with, but at the very least, I'd rather assume I'll get to meet everybody and build relationships where I can. Good luck to everybody who's still waiting to hear back!

I did, goes to everyone, right? My assumption is they aren't asking us to email them that the address is correct, they are just asking us to look at the address and verify.

That makes sense. I just assumed it was bad news on seeing the sender because I'm guessing they call the selected ones. Phew. One week (or less) to go!

Sorry, I told you incorrectly.

I did get an email last year. I got it the 1st of March. It said this:

Dear Hopeful2018,

Your decision to the Leaders for Global Operations program at MIT is currently available online. Please log into your application account at [link] and click on the decision notification.
Sincerely,

The MIT LGO Admissions Team

It had my login info in the link, so I removed that, but it was in the application portal last year.

To make it even worse I got a rejection from Sloan March 18th, and another rejection from Sloan in April.

The last rejection from Sloan was tough, like rubbing salt on the wound twice. I don't know why I got 2 rejection letters.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Posting things like Stanford >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sloan isn't exactly a shining example of maturity and self awareness. Neither is saying "Stanford MBA is WAAAAAY better than Sloan" after you didn't get an invite the first day. There are people on this forum who worked just as hard as you, if not harder, for a chance at an interview and wasn't able to land one. And you are ranting publicly because you didn't get an interview on the first day? If the implications of these statements are not obvious to you, I sincerely hope you develop some self awareness.
