Hello experts
Hi Shiv2016! So I think there are many paths to your goals- you could do an MBA and then have a specialization in marketing analytics. That is probably the more versatile option. However, I could also see that a direct marketing analytics degree could also be an option. I would take the GMAT first- see what you are dealing with in what your score is... if it is competitive for top MBA programs then I would proceed there. But also now is the time to do your own due diligence. I would research programs with marketing analytics programs like the one at Maryland here: https://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/programs/ms ... -analytics
Review what kind of jobs their students are getting and then also compare and research MBA programs in marketing too. I know that A school like McCombs (UT Austin) has a marketing analytics and consulting concentration that might be great and more versatile in the long run- look here to see more: https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/MBA/Full ... Consulting
Once you have a GMAT score and then look at the class profiles of places to see how you match up the the "avg" to get a sense of your chances. We'd love to do a more thorough free consult to give you an idea of your best options. To follow up on that, go to this link: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com/ ... b-visitor/
Best wishes as you do your homework on this!I have been researching various websites to understand the path which is right for me.
I completed BA Marketing and Advertising from Lancaster University in 2014 with a first class honors. I am currently working. Also I will be appearing for GMAT in March.
I want to continue my education in marketing and its related fields but should I go for an MBA or other masters options that are available as I have 2 years of work experience? Will it be a good option to go for marketing analytics instead of an MBA? What are the job prospects for Msc students?
Your advice would be great.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks:)
