Agree with D

mv < pv means v(m-p) <0 m <p or v < 0

(1) says m < p so v>0

mv <0

(2) Says m < 0 so v> 0

Good question i first overlooked option 2 then got D as answer

1) m<p inequality is not changed when mv<pv hence v>0
2)m<0 mv<0 => v>0
IMO D
