Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from a top school in South India- 70% First class (GPA: 3.72 converted by World Education Services)
Master's in Electrical Engineering, From a Tier II school in US- GPA: 3.54
GMAT:690 (M 86% and V:77%)
Work Experience:
Working for a higher education institution for the past five years:
Started my career as an IT professional but switched to Science Communication and Marketing and now I work as a Creative Director. Won at least 25 awards in the past 3 years, including a national level scholarship for University Advancement.
Extracurriculars:
- Basketball captain in Undergraduate college
Recent activities include:
-Toastmasters(Area Governor, club coach, mentor), President of a club, won several awards
- University Staff Basketball league
Community Activities
-Chairman, "Relay For Life" Sub Committee , American Cancer Society
- Co-Chair, University Faculty and Staff Fund raising campaign
- Recently selected for a prestigious Community Leadership program
Goal:
To establish a creative marketing & communications firm to help higher education institutions.
What are my chances at top schools?

with strong essays, interviews, and recs, you would have a competitive profile for schools with strong marketing programs. Look into Michigan, Kellogg, Duke, Tuck, UNC, and Emory.
