about me, french national, asian ethnicity ... 33 years old
GMAT Score: 730 97% percentile (48 m, 42 q)
School: Engineering School in france (M. Sc), graduated at age 22. Don't know yet how it compares to the US GPA, but should be fairly decent.
Work experience: 10 years working as a Software Engineer. 3 promotions.
Siebel Certified, Microsoft Certified.
Part time antique dealer. I have an ebay business with a 1000 positive feebacks (Powerseller at one point = +$2000/month).
Semi pro poker player ... maybe I should not put that in application haha
Speaks French, English, intermediate Spanish and Vietnamese
Came to the US to work at the age of 22. Didn't speak english much. started from nothing and lived the American Dream, good paid job, house etc. Will get citizenship in March.
I am older because I sponsored and put my brother through college for 3 years. (lot of sacrifices) I dont know if that is relevent.
I know that my older age might be a disavantage.
Also I don't think I have accomplished much at work. Anyway I might lack of confidence
Extracurriculars:
- spent a year mentoring and teaching kids from poor neighborhoods in Washington DC (AAlead.org)
- Former competitive amateur boxer, still trains.
- 1994-1995 France Bridge College Champion
- 2004 Alexandria, VA Regional Bridge Tournament winner
- many many interests (play several instruments, dance salsa, travel a lot, took auto mechanics, japanese classes etc etc )

School Planned: would like to focus on the international schools like Insead, but also MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia
