Can you please evaluate my chances based on my profile:
Background
Male, 30 years old, British Citizen, Asian.
GMAT
= 730 (V42 96%, Q48 86%), this was my second attempt as I got 650 the first time.
Education
Undergrad:
BSc Biochemistry, Kings College London, University of London. I got a 2:1 (Upper Second) which I think equates to a GPA of around 3.3. I also did part of my degree at a French university (I speak intermediate French and basic Spanish).
Postgrad:
MSc Management Information Systems, The London School of Economics, University of London. I just missed out on a Distinction overall, but got As in a few of the modules.
Experience
I have 6 years experience of working in IT at 2 investment banks in London (ABN AMRO and Barclays Capital). Although I started as a techie I now work as a Business Analyst specialising in systems that enable the bank to monitor its Credit Risk. I am currently working on a global project to implement a new system to comply with the Basel 2 requirements for Credit Risk Reporting. In this role I am managing the delivery of Risk data from a number of UK based systems. In my current job I have also travelled, mainly to our head offices in Holland.
Aims for MBA
Although I have good background in IT projects in Investment Banks, I want to move beyond technical delivery. I wish to stay in the IT industry, but I want to develop a career in business management and strategy at a technology company or possibly work for a consultancy in this area. To do this I believe an MBA will broaden my knowledge base beyond just technology to include Strategy, Finance, Marketing and Management. I think these are all fields that I will need to understand and increasingly utilise as I progress within an organisation.
My Target Schools are:
MIT
Cornell
NYU
HBS
Wharton
Columbia
Insead
However I have the following concerns:
1. As my parents are originally from Bangladesh, even though I am British born I am afraid that I may be pigeon holed by adcoms into the Indian/Asian IT pool of applicants. Is this likely and will it work against me?
2. My age. I have just turned 30, does this really put me in the older applicant category? I've left the MBA until now as I am now starting to lead my own projects and I believe this is what will make the theory in the MBA relevant to me. Also, it has also taken me until now to sort out my finances...
3. My lack of community service. I enjoy golf (fanatically), swimming, and travelling, but pursuing these interests have not entailed positions of responsibility that I can really talk about or have had any 'community' dimension. I did some fundraising work as student but this was 9 years ago! How important is Community Serivice and how can I address this weakness?

You're welcome. To answer your questions:
1) You have lived most if not all your life in Britain and Europe. You will be considered a Brit of Indian descent. More important than this label, however, using your application to move beyond the label and create a picture of an individual.
2) At some schools (Stanford, HBS) 30 is "older." "Older" at these schools doesn't mean rejected, but it does mean you have to make a case for why you need an MBA now given your past experience and goals.(not why you didn't pursue it earlier). AT other schools with higher experience requirements, you would not be "older." Most European schools and schools like Tuck, Darden, Michigan, and Haas clearly value experience.
3) Community Service is important. The lack of it is a weakness, but realize that "community" is your community as you define it. It can be your ethnic or religious community. It can even be organizing sporting events (golf tournaments, trips or tours) for colleagues. So don't think of it narrowly and make the most of what you've got. If you really have none, it is a weakness at top schools.
