Sorry to hear about your horrible online GMAT™ experience, rrbhaskar10. You are not alone in the complaints you have voiced. I have read other debriefs outlining the same trouble with just getting the exam started, and one of my own students was just telling me last week about the whiteboard resetting in the middle of his work on a few questions. Who will take responsibility for the fiasco? You will, ultimately. You took the test. End of story. Do I empathize? Absolutely. Your story reminded me of taking one of my AP exams in high school. I felt quite confident that I had nailed the first section of the test. I even paused to check my work, since students were prohibited from peeking ahead at any of the other sections, with the penalty for doing so an automatic score cancellation. The clock kept ticking, and I kept watching student after student turn pages. Finally, I decided that not that many students would risk getting caught previewing the next section, so I turned the page. A long essay was just sitting there, unanswered! I dashed out what I could in a minute or two, but by then, my confidence was shot. The rest of the exam might as well have been written in a foreign language. To make a long story short, I did not earn a top score on that test; all I walked away with was a story. My guess is that your online GMAT™ experience will fall into a similar camp. You can take the matter up with GMAC™, but I doubt that will lead anywhere. Most likely, you will have to sit for the exam again. My advice is to wait for the next opportunity to take the exam at a testing center.

I understand your frustration, but life will go on, believe me. Good luck.

Sorry to hear your horrible experience with online gmat. Some also complain similar issues. Btw. Perhaps wait for normal gmat in test centre.

Hi guys, I'm considering online GMAT since my test center appointment keeps being postponed. I don't want to canc the appointment yet, in case I want to retake. If I took GMAT online first, do you know in how many days I can take offline test in the test center? thanks!
