I applied to 5 schools in R2. I got
accepted by Tepper and was put on the
waitlist by Georgetown and Cornell.
The obvious weakness in my application is GMAT - 640 (Q49, V28). I have taken the test 4 times and it's unlikely I will significantly improve now.
What else can I do to enhance my application and get admitted? Cornell is my dream school and that's the one I am most keen on getting in.
Any advice?
An admit to Tepper at a 640 is fantastic - congratulations! Without the benefit of knowing your complete profile or your applications, a broad view - On Cornell and GT, unfortunately, it seems like your GMAT score may be acting as a hurdle. Not retaking that may not provide enough of a push to convert the WL to an admit. Other things you could do include having an additional solid letter of recommendation submit, and providing a statement of updates.
