Hi Admission experts,
I am an IT professional with 4 years of work experience. I have a decent profile but not an extra ordinary one. I am targeting ISB(Indian School Of Business) for April 2017 term. I have planned to apply in round 2 whose date is 15th Jan 2017. I gave GMAT 2 months ago. I scored 640(Q50,V28). I am planning to take a retest by the end of December. Could you please suggest me if it is required to take a retest. I was getting 680-710 in all my CATs. I messed up my timing on verbal on the test day. Could you also please suggest some more business schools which would accept score of this range(640). I am unsure of applying to ISB with this score(640).

I think you are going to want to target a higher GMAT score to give yourself the best shot at ISB. You want to get as close or above the avg score to comfortably feel like you're in good shape at ISB

Thanks for your quick reply. May I ask you what would be the ideal score for ISB. I am targeting a retest in the month of Dec. I have 45-50 days. I am currently at 670-690 range.

ISB's average score is 704. Because you're from a competitive applicant pool, you should aim to exceed this score to improve your odds.

Thanks 99Colleges for the information. I would try to score in the 720 range. Can you please suggest some colleges which I can apply to (apart from ISB). I am unsure of the dates of the colleges. Thanks in advance.
