If I have little or no community service under my belt since graduating college (2 years ago) should I sign up for something now, or is it pointless now. Maybe wait until Round 2 deadlines to get another month of service in?

Yes sign up now, and applying round 2 may be a better option. Even if you apply R1, don't stop your involvement. You may get waitlisted and then being able to talk about your continued involvement or perhaps an expansion of your role, could help you.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to this club and am in the process of putting my application for MBA school together.

The biggest dilemma that I'm facing at the moment is the R1 vs R2 debate. I wanted to know the advantages and disadvantages of applying in both the rounds.

I feel that my application for Kellogg will not be 100% (more like 75-80%) for the R1 deadlines. However, is it best to submit my application then OR wait till R2 when I am sure it'll be 100% to my satisfaction?!

Any suggestions???
(also, the link provided for the R1/R2 fight is taking me to a blog stating that the site has moved and I am unable to track the reading down).

Thanks a million!
