After Trump came into power, the number of international students applying to U.S schools have declined. While the applicants have increased for Canada, and the criteria of admission and the cutoffs have increased simultaneously. Is it a wise decision to go for U.S since one of my friends told there is no more job security for international students. And if not, what could be the best options, which countries could we aim for.
I am yet to appear for GMAT, but I need to have a clear picture of all the aspects. Please suggest the countries along with the top B-schools and their 2017 admission GMAT score. :-D

Good question but I am not sure i have a good answer for you. The Trump regime is in its early stages so I doubt there is truly any good data to confirm the assumption you listed above. There just has not been enough time given he has only been in office a few months. One thing I will say though is whether real or perceived there is an increased feeling of uncertainty related to many things in the U.S especially related to international business and the treatment of non-Americans. i would focus on scoring as well as you can on the GMAT and then re-evaluating what your options are. Do you actually want to work in the U.S if so you will have to make some tough decisions, but ultimately you still will want to apply to schools in the area closest to where you want to work (and can secure the ability to work)

Thanks for your reply. Still I think this question can be answered more precisely because I could not get what I was looking for. I think people in US or nearby could help more

No, the previous poster answered your questions precisely. Too many things are up in the air at the moment to have a confident answer with regards to MBA admissions, jobs etc. No one knows what's going to happen.

Let me simplify it for you: It's too early to tell. Apply broadly and apply to some MBA programs in other countries to mitigate your risk.

As for the rest of your questions, I'm pretty sure if you do some research you can answer them yourself....
