Hi,
I have 8 years of experience in software industry and have worked in insurance, digital unit in manufacturing domain.

I want to pursue my MBA and I am confused on which specialization to choose.
Can anyone guide me on this?

Hi,

A specialization is a cluster of courses in a particular subject. You'd choose the specialization depending upon the course you wish to study in detail (such as finance, operations, strategy etc.), and this would directly be linked to your career goal.

Also to clarify, every one does an MBA for career growth, so that's not at all a goal. You need to think much, much deeper, and have a definite plan in mind that outlines your post-MBA position, role, company and your career growth thereafter for the next 5-10 years.

As more and more universities offer MBA programs, it is becoming ever more difficult for candidates to decide on which business school offers the most suitable MBA program to meet their requirements. How should students go about deciding which specialization is best for them? There are a number of factors to consider such as personal strength, personal interests and career goals. I recommend visiting this page to learn more about how to choose MBA specialization and learn more about the different specializations: https://aringo.com/mba-specializations/
