I want to buy an online verbal course with video explanation. I am new in GMAT club. I just started my preparation 2 weeks ago. If anyone shared any advice or free material or article for a good preparation, I would be greateful to that one.

thanks a lot for your attention and help.

Hi
I heard a lot of good things from the people who use the empower GMAT. They provide a good number of video lessons with a very good explanation. I follow EMPOWERgmatRichC, and I like the way how he explains a question.

It depends on what mode of study you prefer - online or books.

If its books Manhattan GMAT is generally recommended.

For CR - Powerscore CR bible is very famous.

If you prefer online courses - both E-gmat and EMPowerGMAT have very good reviews.

I personally preferred EMPowerGMAT because apart from very good content, they also make you ready for GMAT.

In the course Rich and Max will teach you mental aspects of the GMAT as well which i believe is very essential to clear the test.

Both the course have trial version , enroll in trial period and check which works for you best.

Regarding verbal courses, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

If you need any further advice, feel free to reach out.

Good luck!

Hi moha20,

Since you are in the early phase of your studies, have you taken any practice CATs/mocks yet? If not, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can take 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) What study materials have you used so far?
2) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
