hello everyone,
I am a newbie at the GMAT club introduced by a close friend. I was surfing the club and i figured out the best way to start the application is to get a quick profile evaluation and recognise the needs and areas where we need to work. I am targeting the applications for fall 2016. here is my short resume and it is open to discussion on how do i plan my next one year before i apply for R1 in 2015
First off i do realise that I come from a research background where all of my time is devoted to Laboratories, research and associated work. I hear a lot of schools talk about leadership! I would like to understand that leadership is quite subjective. It escapes my understanding that how would i present my leadership at work if it does not transform into numbers (profit/loss) for the company immediately. Research is definitely a long term process.
As for my post MBA goals I would want to move to healthcare consulting in a boutique firm such as IMS consulting, Parthenon and Group in consultant roles.
