Need Serious Help for my Future

Hi friends,

I found this forum just few days ago and finding this extremely useful. At the same time i m cursing myself that i found this Forum so late. But anyways, better late than never.

I am a Mechanical Engineer, completed my engineering with good GPA, have two years of Job experience. But unfortunately becuase of some domestic problems, i left my Job and my education stopped . Now after setting up all the problems i need to start my education again and wish to pursue my MBA degree. But it seems that getting into good School GMAT is a mandatory requirement along with Toefl. Well, i m a Non-Native speaker so it would take me atleast 6-8 months for preparing for GMAT. But i don't want my this time to be wasted, so i would like to ask you people that is there any suitable program or short-term course related to MBA which i can do prior to MBA so that i save my time until i finish my GMAT and application process which may take upto one year and also that would be of much help to my MBA program as i don't even have the ABC's of Business.


I heard about CFA and CPA but I really don't have any idea what these courses are and will they be of any help if done prior to my MBA degree?
I am in Canada. Plz i need your guidance. Any course, Any short term Diploma, anything which turn out to be useful before starting my MBA program.

Any advise , help or suggestion will highly be appreciated.
