Hi,
Just yesterday took the GMAT xam. Yet to get the official score. But "unofficially" it is 740 (Q 50, V 41). Need some serious help about the acceptability & application.
Details:
- Male, 33 yrs, Married with a kid
- Education: BE (Jadavpur Univ) + MBA (SJMSOM, IIT Mumbai)
- Overall Education: good (80% +) & consistent academic record from top institutions of India
- Years of Experience: 6 yrs (post-MBA)
- Work Area: Marketing & Sales Management
- Currently working as: Regional Marketing Head - East for a Retail chain
Criteria for selecting B-School:
1) 1 yr MBA (FT) starting Sept '10 or Jan '11
2) Schools those who "can" accept "Late application"
3) Good placements (International work exposure for a few yrs is what I'm looking at)
4) Good recognition/ job prospect if I come back to India
Target Schools:
1) Cranfield, UK
2) IMD
3) INSEAD
4) MBS, Australia
5) Oxford/ Cambridge
Constraints:
1) I know I'm very late for the application
2) Going thru' the entire applcn procedures for 4 - 5 schools in 45-days time
It would be really helpful if you could actually help me with this project - guiding me to shortlist best possible B-schools suitable for my background and profile; and for applying to them in the shortest possible time period.

1. Cranfield is known for its focus on transportation and infrastructure management. Excellent choice if that's your interest.
2. Good choice.
3. Good choice.
4. MBS would be a great safety for you if you are interested specifically in Asia or Australia.
