Hey well, Yale Silver Scholars is TOUGH! The program currently takes between six to eight people per year, and more than half tend to come from the US, so that leaves 1-3 places for the rest of the world. :)

Now, your profile is quite good to start, but if you really want to make it in, being a great student and having great internships is only a start. You will need to show how you have ALREADY made an impact on the world around you and have a vision for how you will continue to do so in the future.

Hope this helps,
Best,

Hey dude,
I did read that news as well. And I guess it makes it twice as possible, but let's say, still very very tough? Anyhow, the idea is that you have to show real proven impact, and that grades alone are not enough.

Best,

Yeah, expanding the program is great and all but at the end of the day, there aren't a ton of seats open on the bus. What you have to answer is this (with any early admissions program) - why should School X lock in a spot with me NOW and NOT give that slot to someone in 2 or 3 years. Why should they believe me NOW. Grades are a requirement whenever you apply. So is your GMAT. So go beyond that.
