Do you have a problem with me dude? Do you even know anything about the class profile of people entering the IIM PGPX? What are the employers? Have you even been to India ever? Coz I say the same what you said. Always be careful whose advise you take. Specially some ’expert’ who may not really be an expert

divesh87, I take no issue with you personally. But telling someone to swallow their pride and check their egos when trying to shift careers isn’t overly helpful. An MBA, which is you specialty, is the gateway to changing without sacrifice. Hence why I disagreed with your comment to them

Someone who has 11 years of work experience will need to keep their ego in check when the average experience level is 8.5 years. Yes, this is a very valid statement I made. The context was whether they would be seen as overqualified and not be able to secure a good post MBA employment. Within the premise of the question raised was the suggestion that you will find the same kind of employment opportunities that someone who is lesser experienced than you will find. So keep your ego in check and that’s about it. I don’t know whats the fuss Mr. Expert.
