It’s for people like me who exhausted all the official mocks
Or to look up for solution to a specific question that someone has encountered during his/her official mock exams. But yeah, don’t massively practice these questions like you would do for other sources.

Hi Ashish,
Thanks a lot for your response.

I was product dev at an ERP based product company with exposure to business logic. Using my data analytic skills, i upskilled myself and became a marketing consultant for a regional FMCG company that deals with healthy food products. i helped them by positioning their brand from a simple flour mill to a brand with healthy food products.

So can you give me some pointers on how to nail this transition properly in my SoP and what MBA specific goals should align well with my profile. Also if possible, would you be able to give me a safe GMAT score where i can confidently apply for all the top universities in the world.

Thanking you again,
Siddharth

Product dev to market consultant? That comes across as a drastic pivot. Explain this transition well in your SoP.

GMAT score of 685+ would place you competitively for the top-20 schools.

Sorry, this my bad - most of the experimental critical reasoning questions right now are bold face and so the system keeps pushing them.

I have deactivated the BF experimental ones so you shouldn’t see too many of these anymore.

I am weak in boldface. Will be a very good practice.

Btw, the Quant sims are good BB. These are "practise" section sims. If one remembers that, half of the confusion goes away.

But if your full section adaptive mock is also like that (I am yet to take), then you might reduce intensity a bit.

On the real test you shouldn’t see more than one or two bold face per exam. And frankly we only have enough about two per test to give you boldface questions but the system is set up to shove those no matter what, so it’s shoving experimental bold face questions to people which is not cool 🥴

PS. I’m also not great at bold face questions. Probably my least favorite critical reasoning question type.

I feel like bold face requires a very different skill set

For boldface questions you should always try to find the conclusion and premise. I mean read each line and mark it as a premise of conclusion and only then look at the options.
It becomes much easier to get the right answer after you mark each line.

Also marking each of the statement whether it’s in favour of the conclusion or against the conclusion , along with understanding the sentiment of the author while he made the conclusion will help

Got a V78 in verbal test sectional by gmatclub.
14 were right and 9 were wrong.

Is this accurate?
Please guide me

Got 7 Boldface questions back to back and 3-4 RC passages.
2 conclusion questions.

No other type of CR questions were there, i guess if there were variety in CR questions i might have scored more.
My weakest sections are boldface and conclusions. :(

Hi MyYear2025,

Nonofficial tests can be useful, but for a more accurate score estimate, we really should try to use only the official practice tests.

As for 7 boldface questions, that's almost certainly not going to happen on the real exam. Also, GMAT club may have already fixed that particular issue, so you may not find quite so many boldface questions in their tests going forward.
