Hey, seeking help with below question:

ROI of MBA now that Trump policies make it difficult to continue in USA for a long time.

Hey guys, did the RC changed during transition into focus? For me as a non-native the passages from Old Og’s and GMATPrep feel way denser, harder vocab etc. compared to the recent OG’s and Mocks.

In Old OG's and GMAT Prep (Classic), you can use Passage Type tag to further filter for "Short Passage". There are plenty and you might want to start with these.

However, I think you'll still need to be prepared for longer/denser passage(s) in GMAT Focus, as you will most likely get 1 or 2 of these in a Verbal section, depending on how you are doing.

Hey I got all the RC questions right on mock 1 and I have 90% accuracy on the review and recent OG’s across all types. But sometimes GmatPrep classic passages just crush me, and struggling with fully understand them. So just wondering how the passages gonna be on the actual thing.

Hello, does anyone know any free gmat prep books? I need math 2024+ years thanks
You can find an older edition book for like 10 bucks and it still works and will be fine if you have to get something really cheap for some reason but I’m not sure it’s a really solid plan to use free books to take an exam that cost $300 for a degree that costs $200,000. (at least the one in the US does).

You don’t have to spend more than 20 bucks since I’m used bookstore something along those lines and if for some reason you want to be as cheap as possible, buy the ones from previous versions. That will provide a better result than trying to scrounge free books

Never said anything about illegal books, I’ve bought those versions, willing to share them
You cannot share electronic versions of the books legally. They carry a personal license. So they are illegal once you try to share them

guys i want to take the gmat in about 3 months and haven’t started studying, i took the official mock exam and my percentiles were 22 QR, 83 VR, 62 DI. My first question is if i should focus entirely on quant and data insights or also mix in some verbal reasoning, and second question is what is the best route regarding materials + structure? is the official guide enough to get over or close to 700? (the one that costs 130$). Too much info out there it’s honestly overwhelming, any recommendations help thx.

Congrats that you seem to be doing well in RC already. The perception of passage difficulty can be subjective sometimes. I've seen comments that the current OG and GMAT Focus official mocks are representative of the actual exam. But I've also seen people get a big shock after taking the real thing, such as the post linked below:

Super tough RCs in the actual exam (official mocks are a joke!)

If you can already reach your target Verbal score and have other topics/sections to work on, I'd say don't worry about RC for now. You can wait until after your next official mock (Mock 3 or 4 are said to be more representative) and then decide whether you want to "over-prep" by investing your time on those hard passages.

Hi the thing is jhamboree is pretty decent when you are going for the classes. 6 weeks time schedule is great , you can ask doubts. Build concepts etc however main struggle starts after those 6 wks when you are preparing on your own that's where Jhamboree lacks . I felt it does not have a good post class session/ plan don't get me wrong you can still call the tutor and clear doubts but it's not streamlined and deff not immediate it takes time for them to respond at times which makes the whole process forced .

My main issue was the lack of a proper post class study structure. Like how it was during those 6 wks , I mean we got home wrk, got instructions to self study next chapter in quant etc and clear doubts before proceeding to the next chapter .
Clear instructions were lacking post classes , I am not really suggesting that we be spoon fed , all I am saying is it should have more interactive sessions after 6 wks where we could clear doubts wkly , constantly be in touch with the tutor and have clear agenda post 6 wks .
