D is a 3 digit number such that ratio of number to the sum of it’s digits is least. What is the difference between the digit at hundred’s place and the digit at unit’s place?

A. 0
B. 7
C. 8
D. 9
E. 2

Is it C. 8?

As units digit should be maximized and 100th place minimized

Approach please?
To ensure that the denominator is the max it can be while also keeping the numerator to the min value (for ratio to be least), we need to ensure that the units place has the highest single digit integer i.e. 9 and the 100th place the lowest i.e. 1, expressed as a fraction this becomes:

(1*100+x*10+9)/(1+x+9)

It depends… https://youtu.be/KBWeb6KaDbw

I would say test center is much more reliable then guarantees you’ll get a Score without challenges. I actually don’t see that many positives for taking it at home besides logistics.

I hope you understand that there is no best course to take help from. Every course has its own pros and cons. I believe that you should have look at all the reviews for all the test prep courses out there and then decide which one will be a better fit for you. Hi Community,
I am an IT professional with 2+yrs of working experience and am planning to give my GMAT in the month of September.
I have gone through the Princeton Review hardcover book and am currently going through the GMAT OG for revision and more practice.
My goal it to get a score between 720-740.
I need your suggestions on whether the above mentioned two study materials are enough?
If not, then what else should I solve as well?
Also, wanted to know the efficacy of strategies mentioned in Princeton Review?

Hi and welcome!
Princeton is probably the weaker of the three available books. However, definitely better than they were five years ago, when most of the strategies and Contant was based on tricks and shortcuts which would not that helpful.

I have not reviewed the material in detail however because we haven’t really had a need to win Manhattan has been doing a really good job (no I’m not as thrilled with some of the latest changes they’ve made in the last addition and moving some of the hotter chapters online out of the books).

Having said that, I think you can use the Princeton book if you want to and if you feel it’s helping you improve. The go to resources usually Manhattan or sometimes Kaplan workbooks because they are shorter and easier to digest. But definitely not deeper. Anyway, I will try with you already half and see if it’s helping you improve matching your expectations. If yes, then keep going but if not, get Manhattan or potentially Kaplan as a second choice. Those are the only books currently available 😬

I guess you have said that you’ve gone through the Princeton Review hard cover book… I have never seen a hard cover from Princeton. Do you have a link?

You also mentioned you have already gone through it. Have you achieve your goals? Where are you in terms of your score?

Hi singh.00,

It's hard to say whether a specific part of your prep plan is "enough". I recommend that you get started, and then add prep resources if and when you think you need them.

At that point, you could also consider this SC course.
