I took the official GMAT FE mock and scored 405. My target score is above 85 percentile. How much time should I give to the prep? Also, in the mock, I had left questions unanswered in the Data Insights section. I read the penalty is high for leaving Qs unanswered
Hi!
According to this conversion table
GMAT Classic to GMAT Focus Score Conversion Table an 85 percentile is equal to a 625 or so on the Focus Edition. So that's a 220 score gap which would take a while to close for most of us.
May I ask how many questions you left unanswered overall? And would this happen to have been a blind attempt without any prior preparation?
As
BottomJee mentioned earlier in this thread, @GMATNinja's 13-week study plan is a great way to move forward. The only caveat is the removal of Sentence Correction and Geometry, along with the changes for Data Insights.
