Hey guys I am new to Gmat Club. I find the functions of the app quite overwhelming as there are a lot? And I do not even know what more can I do with this app. As I want to use this app to its fullest, is there any good tutorial regarding a proper usage of this app?
You using iPhone app, android, or you just talking about the site as an app?

Did you get a welcome PM from me? That should give you an idea... look in your messages. PM’s.

When i go through question banks, i actively avoid questions tagged "Gmat Prep (Focus)" and "Gmat Prep" so as to not spoil the questions for myself when i take official mocks.

I was reading some posts and realised that these may only apply to the tag gmat prep (focus) and not gmat prep. I.e you can do questions tagged gmat prep without exposing you to questions on the official gmat prep (focus) mocks.

Could i get some confirmation? I think that this would be helpful to many others!

Hi! I attempted the GMAT focus for the first time on Monday, and I got a 695. I’m planning on applying to HEC, ESCP, LSE, ESSEC and Bocconi for MiF. What worries me is my Quant was quite weak (57th percentile). Do schools look at individual section scores?

Hey folks,

I am giving gmat and GRE in the next month. I have been preparing for GRE for the last 2 months.

How different are the 2 tests? Is there something to unlearn and relearn? Has anyone given both?

Replied to your topic - FYI

Not really anything to unlearn.

The quantitative test on the GMAT is usually more extensive than on the GRE.

Also, because GMAT is adaptive, it will throw harder questions with you as you answer them correctly preventing you from feeling too comfortable with the test ... most of the time. You have this strange feeling as though you’re failing and doing terribly. 😂

I hv a Q here....I read this many times and do understand the exam is an adaptive one so it throws harder as we answer correctly....But Q is how hard? There is a benchmark that the guides always seem to suggest....so I pretty much assume no matter if the answers are correct the Q’s won’t eventually reach an IIT/ISI level.....Also if a person is consistently answering correctly how tough does the level of subsequent Q’s rise to? Am pretty sure the 99 percentilers wd hv consistently answered correct Q’s.....Also with a relatively tougher Q set (meaning most are answered correctly) howz the percentile measured w.r.t a relatively easier set? What happens when we skip a Q...howz the adaptive nature of the subsequent Q judged when we skip/don’t answer a Q?

Hi guys, I’m Ana, from Colombia.
I am currently studying for GMAT focus edition test. I’ll have around 3 months and a half to study. Is this time enough to get a 565 score (as mínimum) or more? Please, be as honest as possible. I’m checking my chances😓🙈

Thanks for replying in advance✌🏽
