Can someone advise? I have just recently started preparing for GMAT and knowing my weak areas I started with Quant. I am not able to solve any problem within an appropriate time frame or even at all. Yes, I chose difficult set of questions but given that I have prepared for aptitude exams before I just figured it would be better to solve medium-difficult ones only. I have always struggled with quant sections of competitive exams even though I was decent at math in school and my current role is all about analyzing quantitative data and I never face any issues there. I feel like I have been getting it all wrong when it comes to practicing quant. And every time I score low it reinforces my fear of quant. For context I gave GRE a few months back and I scored 156 in QA even though I practised at least 500 questions.

Hello, I need some advice regarding typos in MBA application

I mistakenly wrote my date of exam as 1st september instead of August 31st. Should i email the colleges I submitted the applications to about this error? or should i let it be?

I don’t think it matters. They use this information mostly for identification of your test scores in case there are multiple ones. This isn’t material information plus with time zones and everything else who knows so I think you have a pass on this one.

I can tell you that at at least 10 people will put on their application to booth that they are really excited to be starting at Columbia. It’s inevitable to make mistakes but schools know people apply to many schools and they know they use the same material and usually don’t take it personally.

Hi guys, I’m Ana, from Colombia.
I am currently studying for GMAT focus edition test. I’ll have around 3 months and a half to study. Is this time enough to get a 565 score (as mínimum) or more? Please, be as honest as possible. I’m checking my chances😓🙈

Thanks for replying in advance✌🏽
I think it's certainly possible; however, the best thing you can do is take an official MBA.com practice exam to see where you are at.

I honestly don't think it's a big deal. I would just leave it alone.

One thing that may help a bit is looking up the gmatclub threads of questions you found tough. You could see the solutions/explanations other people have posted and potentially see a shorter/easier way to solve that you can leverage in the future. You could also check out posted debriefs in the Share GMAT Experience subforum by people who've scored well/improved their Quant scores to see what they did/used.

Hi, guys I’m struggling to focus on GMAT exam preparation after working hours. The real issue is that I feel tired after working hours and at the end of the day I can’t focus my energy for GMAT preparation.

Take small steps, but build a routine. Even small steps count. Start with 1 hr daily before going to work, try to increase slowly. Dont go beyond 2 hrs. Weekends try for 3-4 hrs atleast. Since you are tired after work, come home and sleep. Try to wake up early and study for 1 hr. It might take longer to get ready for the test but you will eventually do it. I am kind of in the same situation, just suggesting what I tried and worked for me.
