Hi, I am very new to the GMAT Club and I am sorry if this is not the appropriate place where to ask such a question. I’d like to ask something about the GMAT Score Estimator available in My
Error Log Stats. When it comes to verbal, it assigned me a 27 which I sincerely can’t understand. How is it possibile or how does it work?
My Verbal correct exercises % divided by score range are:
100% Sub600 level.
95.8% 600-700 level.
69.4% 700 level.
I can’t figure out why my verbal result is so low. Is it normal to get such a low result with these percentages?
Hi. Happy to comment. I would say that the estimator in
error log is not an adaptive system, obviously as you realize, so the scoring works in a different way. However, we wanted to give people some kind of an indicator or understanding of how they perform overall while solving individual questions.
It’s easy, sometimes to get overly focused on individual questions and lose the big picture. What the estimator does is that it compares your performance to that of everyone else. It takes into consideration, not only correct, and incorrect answers, but also average time that you take to answer the questions. Let me know if you have further questions or if you don’t think it makes sense. I would ask you to find the error. Log topic and post there to make sure I don’t miss it.

Does anybody know how is the Master in Marketing Management and Digital (MMD) Program at ESSEC’s Asia Pacific Campus in Singapore? It is good?
I think you need to define what you mean by the word good…. Because the fact that you are asking this question indicates you are not thinking about it correctly. There are so many aspects to a program - curriculum, professors, classmates, geographical location, job opportunities after graduation, the type of visa you get after graduation if you need it, on campus, recruiting, cost… 🥴
