Things are hard ofcourse, and gets even harder when many talented folks compete for the best. Theres also an element of luck which plays, both at a a perspnal and macro economics, social level.
In my experience, many of the new applicants are equating going out+ going to a campus abroad as success. Success based on the past factors of other people around.
This was ok when things were changing 'incrementally' in business , politics, job scenarios in other countries.
Now that situations are changing in a 'Step Wise function ' , aka drastically, its upto us to evaluate tje pros and cons more deliberately to each of our situations.
