Just got done with Quant sectional test of GMAT club - It felt representative of the official mock - as My score is similar to what I am getting since a month on official mocks

Because answers on data sufficiency are all the same for every question. 😱 so they’re not published on every question.

I mean here
Hi,

This is a data sufficiency question. Options for DS questions are always the same and usually omitted on the site.

The data sufficiency problem consists of a question and two statements, labeled (1) and (2), in which certain data are given. You have to decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient for answering the question. Using the data given in the statements, plus your knowledge of mathematics and everyday facts (such as the number of days in July or the meaning of the word counterclockwise), you must indicate whether—

A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked.
B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked.
C. BOTH statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are sufficient to answer the question asked, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient to answer the question asked.
D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient to answer the question asked.
E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient to answer the question asked, and additional data specific to the problem are needed.

Hope this helps.

Welcome! We’ve had quite a few successful older applicants and accomplished as well.

The best route since you have two months would be to buy them Manhattan prep books. It’s just $100 and it gives you all the material you need in one convenient place

You also need to get the official guide as that contains a lot of the official questions that you can practice and eventually you will also probably need to buy the official exams the paid ones but that can be much later. Your budget is probably $250 for the materials in about $300 for the exam

In terms of the routine, the best approach would be start your studying early in the morning and not after work. Just opened the chapter in the Manhattan prep book reviewed the one from yesterday and then move onto the next one. Even an hour and a half in the morning is more powerful than three hours after work

Well you have a lot of advantages being a little bit older, you’ve got genetics against you because your memory is not as good and your concentration is not as good and you don’t retain as much as when you were 16 😂

There are a few ways to approach it, some people study quant and verbal at the same time while others take one section at a time. There’s no right or wrong way. Everyone has their own advantages and strengths so leverage Wood works for you and iterate if it doesn’t work. If something doesn’t work, change things up and look for ways to make it work.

Most important recommendation, measure your progress daily or every other day with a short 10 question quiz. Don’t wait two months to take the test and realize that you haven’t retained anything. You should fail quickly if you do fail and correct quickly as well

For people who are going to leave their jobs for a full-time MBA, how are you going to ask your boss for a letter of recommendation and break it to them that you're leaving their company?
